Do you like jigsaw puzzle? I like it.
I got 1000 piece Ravensburger puzzle from my neighbor and happily spent a couple of hours to assemble it. The background scenery is Angel's bridge & St. Peters in Rome, and this is my first puzzle of nature scene. I used to choose animation character like snoopy.
When I was trying to remember some tips and techniques, (I didn't finish yet) Wallace and Gromit hit me. Especially, the scene in A Close Shave (1995) that Gromit was working on a jigsaw puzzle in jail. Gromit's face change was delicate. He was sadly assembling the puzzle at first, but when he put in the last piece, his face expressed a hope (and surprise) for escape because the completed puzzle showed a secret message that his friends would save him. I felt that the scene might be linked with the meaning of the fruits of 'piece by piece' and I liked it.

PS: Wallace and Gromit is really memorable to me. It was the first stop motion animation I saw, and the first film to show me that there is more than US (precisely speaking, Disney) clay animation. I didn't know what it is at that moment, but did feel that a very different sense of humor inhabits. (Later, I knew Wallace and Gromit is timeless British icon).
